My name is James Jackson and I am a freelance videographer based in central Illinois. My filmmaking journey started years ago inside a small dorm room at Lincoln college in Lincoln Illinois.
A few friends of mine were given an assignment to create a short film and asked me to be apart of it. By the time we had finished the project, I knew film would become a big part of my life. From there I enrolled into Southern Illinois University Carbondale where I studied Cinema and Photography.
I have filmed numerous projects working as a freelance videographer. The types of projects I have filmed include: short films, weddings, events, commercials, interviews and music videos.
With multiple yers of video production under my belt. I have established skills in computer software such as : Adobe premier pro, adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom , Adobe After effects and Final Cut pro X.
I Like to think of filmmaking as more than a career for Me, it is a lifestyle.
